Undercurrent is a new bar in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Williamsburg. It is the sister bar Echo Lake, sitting just below. It will be open in the Winter of 2025 and is also owned and operated by the famed Chicago bartender Paul McGee. The bar will specialize in rum-based cocktails, small bites, and specialty events. 

The bar’s design explores the feeling of being under the sea, existing in the coral reef. Curiosity and exploration are encouraged. With a layout that celebrates the performance of making a great cocktail, the experience circulates around the bar as a stage, and as a pulpit.
